Mallory Print is a family-owned custom embroidery company based in Joshua, TX, serving businesses and organizations across the DFW Metroplex and shipping nationwide. Our family businesses began in 1961. We embroider professional-grade logos, names, and artwork onto polo shirts built to represent your brand every single day — not just on a good day.
Custom embroidered polo shirts are the standard for corporate uniforms, golf events, customer-facing staff, school staff, and any situation where you need a team to look pulled together without looking stiff. Embroidery gives a polo shirt a permanence and quality that heat transfer printing and iron-on decoration can’t match.
Polo shirts get washed. A lot. They go through commercial laundry, daily home washing, and months of regular wear before they’re retired. That’s exactly why embroidery — not screen printing, not vinyl, not heat transfer — is the standard for polo decoration.
Embroidered designs are stitched directly into the fabric of the garment, which means they don’t peel, crack, fade, or lift at the edges. The texture reads as quality. Clients notice it. Customers notice it. There’s a reason that every well-run restaurant, hotel, golf club, and corporate office puts an embroidered logo on their staff polos — it’s the decoration method that communicates that the business takes itself seriously.
Screen printing is the right method for T-shirts and hoodies in bulk. Embroidery is the right method for polo shirts. We do both in-house at Mallory Print, and we’ll always steer you toward the one that actually serves your order.
The standard placement for business and uniform polos. Your logo is digitized in-house and stitched cleanly onto the left chest — typically 3 to 4 inches wide, with thread counts optimized for that size. This is the most requested placement for company polos, restaurant staff shirts, and corporate uniforms.
Logo or text embroidered on the left or right sleeve — often used alongside a left-chest placement for a layered branding effect. Common for golf events, athletic staff, and branded resort wear.
Individual employee names, job titles, or department identifiers stitched onto the right chest opposite the logo. Useful for customer-facing roles in hospitality, healthcare, retail, and service businesses where name recognition matters.
Complex, multi-color logos are digitized in-house with proper thread color matching. We don’t simplify your logo to fit an auto-digitized stitch file — we build the file correctly so the colors, gradients, and proportions read the way your brand standards require.
Embroidered polo orders come from every corner of DFW and beyond. Common customers include:
A consistent, branded look for staff — from front desk to field teams.
Embroidered staff polos are part of the guest experience at country clubs and resorts.
Customer-facing staff who look cohesive and professional.
Clean, clearly branded staff shirts signal trust and competence.
Teachers, coaches, and administrative staff in branded polos across Johnson County.
Crews that look professional on every job site.
Send your logo, name, or artwork to ethan@malloryprint.com. Vector files (.AI, .EPS, .PDF) are ideal, but we work from whatever you have. Our in-house graphic design team can recreate or clean up artwork before digitizing if needed.
Our embroidery team converts your artwork into a stitch file — the machine embroidery format that tells the equipment exactly how to reproduce your design in thread. We handle density, underlay, stitch direction, and color sequencing in-house.
We can embroider polo shirts you supply, or we can source them for you from our apparel catalog — a wide range of brands, weights, fabric blends, and color options.
Once the stitch file is approved and garments are in-house, production runs on our in-house embroidery machines. Every order is checked for quality before it ships or is picked up.
Pickup from our Joshua, TX location or shipped anywhere in the country. We’ll give you a firm delivery timeline when you request your quote.
Vector files — .AI, .EPS, or .PDF with embedded vectors — give us the cleanest foundation for embroidery digitizing. If you only have a raster image (.PNG, .JPG), send it and we’ll assess it. If resolution is an issue, our in-house design team can rebuild the artwork from a reference image.
We use Pantone thread color matching to get as close as possible to your brand colors. Thread color has natural limitations compared to ink — some gradients and very fine color transitions require simplification — but we’ll show you the thread matches before production begins and won’t run an order you’re not satisfied with.

Generally, yes — mixed-size orders are standard and don’t trigger per-size upcharges. We’ll sort this out clearly in your quote.
We can embroider customer-supplied polo shirts in most cases. Contact us with the garment details and we’ll confirm compatibility before you send anything our way.
Properly digitized and stitched embroidery is designed to outlast the garment in most cases. There’s no peel, no crack, and no fade with properly applied embroidery. We recommend washing inside-out on a gentle cycle to preserve the stitching longest.
